Terms of use

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Glowometry.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the content you choose to upload.

2. Photos you may upload

Only upload photos of adults. You must have the rights needed to upload and use each photo.

Before uploading a photo of someone else, obtain their explicit, informed permission for the upload, intended analysis or simulations, processing by the providers described in our Privacy policy, and any saving of the photo and results to your account.

Do not upload photos obtained through deception, coercion, unauthorised access or another invasion of privacy.

If a person withdraws their permission, stop uploading or analysing their photos and request permanent deletion of their existing photo data.

3. Permission to process your photos

You retain any ownership and other rights you hold in the photos and content you upload.

You give Glowometry limited, non-exclusive permission to receive, copy, transmit, store and process your content only as reasonably necessary to:

• Perform the analysis or simulation you request.
• Display and deliver the resulting measurements, images and reports.
• Provide saved history and other features you use.
• Address a support request you make involving that content.

Our service providers may carry out these activities on our behalf. Their use of your content is limited to providing those services.

This permission does not authorise us or our service providers to publish your photos, use them in advertising, sell them, or use your photos or associated facial data to train or fine-tune AI models.

Any additional use requires a separate, specific agreement from the person concerned and any other rights holder.

4. Saving, retention and deletion

When you are signed in, your front-facing and side-profile photos, facial landmarks, measurements, analysis results and manual landmark corrections are automatically saved to your private account history. Signing in while a photo is open also saves it and its current analysis.

When you are signed out, your photo is sent to our servers for analysis and discarded once the results are returned. Signing out stops future automatic saves without deleting existing history.

You can delete saved entries from your account history or contact us to request deletion of your account. Our Privacy policy explains retention, deletion and withdrawing consent.

5. Analysis and simulations

Glowometry provides automated facial measurements, analysis and visual simulations for informational purposes.

Results are estimates. Lighting, camera angle, image quality and limitations of the technology can affect them. Results may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Glowometry does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment recommendations. Simulations do not predict or guarantee the outcome of a cosmetic procedure. Consult an appropriately qualified professional before making medical or cosmetic treatment decisions.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Glowometry to:

• Harass, shame, threaten, impersonate or exploit another person.
• Conduct surveillance or attempt to identify strangers.
• Make unlawful or discriminatory decisions about people.
• Access accounts or information without authorisation.
• Bypass security controls or interfere with the service.

Do not share another person's photos or identifiable results without their permission.

7. Service availability and your rights

We aim to provide a reliable service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation or a particular analysis result.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits consumer guarantees, privacy rights, remedies or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

8. Suspending or ending access

We may restrict or suspend access where we reasonably believe it is necessary to address a breach of these Terms, protect people or the service, or comply with law.

Where reasonably practicable, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may contact us to request a review.

Suspension or account closure does not remove applicable rights to request access to or deletion of personal information.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. We will publish the updated version and its effective date, and give reasonable advance notice of material changes where practicable.

An update to these Terms does not, by itself, authorise new uses of previously uploaded photos. Where a new use requires consent, we will request that consent separately before proceeding.
